Salem Mennonite
History
Mennonite pioneers, mostly from Pennsylvania. and Virginia., settled in this area of western Ohio in the early 1800's. The first log cabin church was built here in 1843. After several name changes, the building that would be named the Salem Mennonite Church was built in 1883. Today, the congregation is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds and ages.
