Our Interim Pastor

Our interim pastor is David Orr. He was an elder at Salem before being called as pastor. He previously served congregations in Illinois, Ohio, and Nebraska and as a staff member of the former General Conference Mennonite Church in Newton, Kansas.
"It is exciting to serve Salem Mennonite Church at this pivotal time" commented Pastor David. "We have a distinguished history of ministry and are looking forward to the next chapter in our life as disciples of Jesus Christ"
David lives in Lima with his wife, Sharon. In addition to his ministry at Salem, he is Victim Offender Dialogue Coordinator at Crime Victim Services. He may also be found lifeguarding at the Lima Family YMCA a couple of early mornings each week.
